Britney Spears is reported to be a surprise performer at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (November 23rd).
Host Jimmy Kimmel told E! Online that there was a “big surprise” that he hadn't been informed about.
"They have these surprises that 75 people on the crew know about, but they won't tell the host," Kimmel said.
"Apparently, there is some big surprise. I sent...the producer an email yesterday and he was like, I can't tell you."
Spears last appeared at the American Music Awards two years ago around the time she filed for divorce from her ex-husband Kevin Federline.
Mariah Carey, Kanye West and Christina Aguilera are all expected to attend the event at the Nokia Theatre.
As previously reported on Gigwise, the singer releases her new album 'Circus' on December 2nd in the US.
