US R&B singer Beyonce has said she would like to perform at president-elect Barack Obama's inauguration ceremony in January.
Speaking at an event in New York, the singer told reporters that she would “definitely be there” to witness the event.
Asked if she would perform, Beyonce replied: "Of course I'd love to. Who wouldn't?"
Beyonce is one of a number of musicians who campaigned for Mr Obama during his bid to become America's first black president.
Mr Obama will be officially sworn into the White House on January 20th.
The Democrat is currently going through the process of choosing his key staff, with former presidential rival Hillary Clinton tipped to become Secretary of State.
