Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty is apparently keen to join a pub football team in Buckinghamshire.
The singer has reportedly bought the Queen’s Head Rangers squad £500 worth of football shirts with his face on.
A friend said Doherty wanted the team to be inspired not only his football skills but also his life-long club Queen's Park Rangers.
The Sun newspaper quotes the teams' manager, Josh Morris, as being “happy to have [Doherty]” join the side.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Doherty fronts a Babyshambles side in the annual charity Soccer Six tournament.
