Prince has been sued by a perfume company who claim the singer breached a contract agreement.
The $100,000 lawsuit, which also names the singer's music publisher Universal, claims Prince failed to promote his two 3121 fragrances for the company.
Revelations Perfume and Cosmetics filed the case at New York State Court yesterday (November 17th).
Universal said the company's claims that they had failed to honour a contract were “completely without merit”.
But Revelations Perfume and Cosmetics said that as part of the contract it had agreed pay the record label 50% of the perfume's profits.
The fragrances were released to coincide with the release of the singer's 2006 album of the same name.
