Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has hinted that the band could play London’s Wembley Stadium next year.
The group had been hoping to play Knebworth house next summer but were forced to alter plans because the country venue wasn’t available.
Writing on the bands website, Martin said: “I think we have thought of something else. Hopefully we'll be able to announce it soon.
“And hopefully it's not the same day that Oasis have booked it."
Oasis are due to play three nights at Wembley next summer as part of an extensive stadium tour.
Meanwhile, Coldplay return to the UK this December for a UK arena tour. You can purchase tickets through the Gigwise Gig Guide.
