The Ting Tings have told Gigwise they would love it if Marilyn Manson covered one of their hit songs.
Jules De Martino from the indie-pop duo was speaking about the band's appearance on the third Radio 1 Live Lounge where they cover The Gossip's 'Standing In The Way Of Control'.
Asked who would be his dream artist to sing a Ting Tings song, he enthused: “Marilyn Manson doing 'Shut Up & Let Me Go', screaming it out, metal goth style.
“We had a guitar tech in the States who was a huge Manson fan. We fooled around with him and the idea during sound check. It would work brilliantly!”
Speaking about covering The Gossip, De Martino continued: “We're both big fans of The Gossip, 'Standing...' was brilliant record and we loved mixing it up with 'I Got The Power' by Snap.
“We performed with The Gossip in Rome along with Annie Lennox. We didn't meet Annie but had a blast with Beth! I love loving a band then meeting them to find they're not cocks!”
Radio 1's Live Lounge: Volume 3 is out now.
