Kate Nash, The Wombats and Fightstar will perform for students at a school disco in North Yorkshire this evening (November 14th).
Harrogate Grammar School won the chance to have a “school invasion” after entering a competition on MySpace.
As well as a disco, the school will receive £10,000 worth of music equipment and expert master classes.
Nash is expected to preview new material at the show. She told the BBC songs penned for her second album feel "girl groupy”.
But she added: “I've also got stuff that has got a bit of a harder edge."
Nash is expected to record the album over the coming months.
