Singer Adele has revealed that she would like to collaborate with former X Factor contestant Laura White.
White was controversially voted of the reality TV show last weekend after she failed to secure the support of the judges.
Speaking to the Mirror newspaper, Adele said she thought White's dismissal was “ridiculous” and described the singer as “brilliant”.
She added: "I have been thinking about who I can duet with for my next gig at the Roundhouse in Camden in December and Laura just popped into my head. I would love to sing with her."
Lily Allen and former X Factor winner Leona Lewis have also criticised the decision to let the singer go, while MPs raised the issue in the House of Commons on Monday.
12,000 people have so far signed a petition calling for White to be reinstated on the show.
Meanwhile, judge Louis Walsh has defended his decision to vote her off, saying the singer was “never going to win”.
