Metallica frontman James Hetfield has spoken about the extensive injuries he has suffered while touring with the band.
The singer, who formed the metal group in 1981, has been involved in a number on on stage accidents, including one in 1992 where he was set on fire.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Hetfield said: “There’s some scars, for sure.
"At one point we did a body scan and put it in our fan club magazine, highlighting my broken wrist, broken ribs, the burns, this and that.
“I ruptured a disc in my back on the Summer Sanitarium Tour a few years back. That’s the nagging one.”
Metallica release their new single, 'All Nightmare Long', on December 15th.
