Oasis are considering buying a private jet to make travel between gigs easier.
Brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher hired a private plane for their current European tour but are now interested in making it more permanent.
“We're making serious enquiries as to how much one of these jets cost. We think with a bit of creative accounting we could probably afford one,” Noel wrote on the band's website.
He said that the band had named their hired jet “The Credit Crunch”, adding: “It's the only way to fly.”
The Gallagher's will join an illustrious crowd of private jet owners should they make the investment, which could set them back as much as £150million.
Oasis return to the UK next summer for a set of stadium dates.
