Lily Allen Joins X-Factor Laura White Controversy

Lily Allen has joined the debate surrounding the controversial dismissal of a contestant on The X Factor.

Laura White, 21, became the fifth act to be voted off the reality TV show last Saturday after she failed to secure enough votes from the judges.

The decision to dismiss White, a favourite to win the show, has proved unpopular with fans and was even raised by MPs in the House of Commons yesterday (November 10th).

Writing about the show on her blog, Allen said: “Right, I think we were all a little shocked right? Laura didn't deserve to go in my opinion, neither did Ruth (my personal favourite).

"I've been left feeling quite upset by the whole of tonight's show."

She added: “I can not believe that week after weak, Daniel the pool man is still in, people are quite man, I'm sure.”

Culture Secretary, Andy Burnham, said that White's exit was “very harsh”, calling her a "wonderful and talented" singer.

12,000 people have signed a petition calling for White to be reinstated on the show.

Hi well i actually think that RACHEl should have gone this week she didnt sing well at all, the bottom 2 should have been rachel and daniel and rachel should have gone, I think louis is getting rid of act that are a threat to his boys. I WAS SO ANGRY THIS WEEKEND, BUT THEN IS THAT WHAT THEY WANT PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT IT. ALEXANDRA TO WIN........... ruth and laura didn't deserve to be in the bottom 2.... FIX

Simon is behind this, he is pushing for Dian Vickers to win, because she is younger and cuter. Laura is competition for Diana as theya re both quirky singers but lauras voice is WAY better than Diana's! The show is rigged, clearly!
