Britney Seaprs' son has been discharged from hospital in Mississippi after being treated for a suspected allergic reaction, a spokesperson for the singer has said.
Jayden James, 2, was rushed to hospital on Sunday (November 9th) and remained under doctors observation overnight.
"Jayden James Federline was admitted to the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center on Sunday. Doctors concluded he had a reaction to something he ingested," a spokeswoman said.
An update later confirmed that he had been discharged.
Spears lost custody of her two children, Jayden and his brother Sean Preston, to her ex-husband Kevin Federline earlier this year after a judge raised fears about her health.
But she has been praised by critics and fans over recent months, and is currently preparing to release her new album, 'Circus', in December.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Spears was a surprise guest at Madonna's concert in Los Angeles last week.
