Grace Jones has hinted that she may release a film which documents her recent music career.

The singer, who released her new album 'Hurricane' earlier this month, has been filmed by the English film-maker Sophie Fiennes for the project.

“Sophie Fiennes has been following me around for the last four or five years and it’s going to be at least nine months of editing, that’s how much material we’ve got,” she told BBC 6Music.

When asked what material Fiennes had shot, Jones replied: “It’s a lot of performance, it’s me in Jamaica, we had a family reunion and it’s the making of the record."

Jones' new album, her first in 19 years, features production from Brian Eno, Tony Allen and Tricky.

She is set to embark on a UK tour in the New Year and you can purchase tickets through Gigwise here.
