Take That star Mark Owen has said he believes Robbie Williams' new album will be better than the boy band's.
Williams, a former member of Take That, is scheduled to release his as-yet-untitled project in 2009.
Speaking to the BBC, Owen said Williams had played the band some songs when they met recently in Los Angeles.
“It's really, really good - in fact it's even better than ours," he said. "I was a bit gutted. I just want him to get something out. I think he's going to release something in the new year."
As previously reported on Gigwise, tickets for Take That's 2009 summer stadium dates became the fastest selling tour in UK history last week.
The band release their new album, 'The Circus', on December 1st.
