People who are willing to dress as Halloween zombies have been requested to help break a world record in Nottingham this evening.
They will be asked to perform a dance routine to Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'.
Organisers of the city's games festival GameCity are hoping to break a record set in Pittsburgh, USA last year where 1,124 zombies took part.
In order to be transformed into a zombie people must arrive by 2pm today (October 31st). The record attempt will take place at 5pm.
"We can provide you with a zombie kit, we can train you to walk like a zombie, talk like a zombie, shuffle like a zombie,” organisers Iain Simons said.
"We'll train you to do the Thriller dance. As any self-respecting zombie knows, it's very important that they come together and dance the Michael Jackson Thriller dance because that's what zombies do when they congregate."
Michael Jackson was one of a host of musicians who made it into Gigwise's Halloween special. CLICK HERE to see the other scary music stars.
