Happy Halloween! Yes, that's the right, the day of unwelcome bonfires, fancy dress parties and trick-or-treating is here.

It's not ghosts and ghouls that are scaring us, however, it's the likes of Amy Winehouse, Courtney Love and Pete Doherty.

To celebrate Halloween – or All Hallows Eve to give it its correct name – we thought we'd take a look at some of the scariest stars in music.
