US rapper 50 Cent has offered fellow hip-hop star Kanye West advice after he was arrested at Los Angeles airport following a row with a photographer.
West and his road manager, Don Crowely – who was also arrested - were both charged with felony vandalism following the incident in September.
Speaking to the New York Daily News, 50 Cent said West had yet to learn how to deal with the paparazzi.
“You'll see artists like Kanye West, he recently had a little incident in the airport," 50 Cent said.
"After he's been been successful for a longer period, he'll let that frustration go without incident.
“I've had enough time to get used to the fact that people might want to take my picture when I don't want it taken, but I accept it."
West is currently waiting to hear whether he will face a misdemeanor charge over the incident after the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office downgraded his original felony charge.
