Oasis have warned their fans to be careful about where they chose to buy tickets from for their 2009 UK stadium tour.
In a message on their website, the band told fans to avoid an unauthorised ticket website called Oasistickets.
The website, which is registered with an anonymous domain registry in Madeira and is hosted in Hungary, has been reported to the police as suspicious.
The band said they had also discovered a a number of high quality ticket forgeries on their recent UK arena tour.
Yesterday, Oasis thanked fans who purchased 500,000 tickets for the tour next summer in just 24 hours last Friday.
Such was the demand that extra dates were added to their London and Manchester residencies, as well as a new date at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena.
You can purchase tickets for the tour now through Gigwise by clicking here. Alternatively, you can call our ticket hotline on 0871 230 1098 for more details.
