Bees Gees member Robin Gibb has revealed that he has never seen Saturday Night Fever – the film his band soundtracked – in its entirety.
Gibb told BBC Radio 4 that he walked out of the film’s premiere in 1977 just thirty minutes into the movie.
"It's not that I can't watch it. It's just that I'm restless,” he said.
The Bee Gees soundtrack to Saturday Night Fever is one of the most popular of all time, selling over 40million copies worldwide.
Despite penning such songs as ‘Stayin’ Alive’ and ‘How Deep Is Your Love’ for the film, Gibb said the band didn’t see any footage until the premiere.
"We didn't see the film until the premiere," he said, where he ”lasted half an hour”.
As well as launching the band’s career, Saturday Night Fever also showcased the acting talent of John Travolta.
