Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx Gets Tattoo Of Mick Mars

Motley Crue's bassist Nikki Sixx has had a tattoo of the band's guitarist Mick Mars on his leg.

The artwork – which can been seen below – was inscribed by Sixx's girlfriend, Kat Von D.

Footage of Sixx having the tattoo appeared on the latest episode of LA Ink on America's The Learning Channel.

In his blog Sixx described the tattoo as a “killer portrait” of his band mate, who he said was surprised when he saw it for the first time at Los Angeles Crue Fest.

“It was a pretty emotional rollercoaster ride to share the whole experience with Katherine, from the beginning of the idea to the end when we finally show Mick,” he said.
