Paul Weller: 'Ordinary Boys' Preston Is A Silly Pop Star'

Paul Weller has accused Ordinary Boys singer Samuel Preston of being a “total about-face” following his appearance on Celebrity Big Bother.

Weller championed the band during their early career but has now admitted that the singer's actions have left him unsure about their ambition.

"What happened to them, man? I thought he was a credible character, serious about what he was doing,” Weller told the Mirror newspaper.

“Then he's behaving like a silly pop star, a total about-face."

Preston married Celebrity Big Brother 2006 winner Chantelle Houghton following his appearance on the show but the couple have since divorced.
