A 19-year-old man who hacked into singer Miley Cyrus's email account has been tracked down by the FBI after boasting he would never be caught.
Josh Holly posted a number of racy pictures of the Disney star on the Internet after he hacked into the private Gmail address last December.
Cyrus, who had apparently taken the photos for Jonas Brothers star Nick Jonas, publicly apologised for the images.
In interviews, Holly claimed he would never be caught because he moved about so frequently.
However, the hacker told Wired that he was tracked down on Monday at his home in Tennessee. Authorities confiscated computer equipment and a phone but didn't arrest or charge him, Holly said.
"I was just kind of shaking. I was thrown way off guard. I guess somebody ended up ratting me out."
Earlier this year, another photo of Cyrus, which showed the 15-year-old wrapped in a sheet with her back exposed, was widely criticised.
The picture, taken by photographer Annie Leibovitz, appeared in Vanity Fair.

- I think people just need to leave her alone. She is only human. She is living her dream. People are just jealous because she has it all and people will make up anything out of jealousy. Let her be and let her live her dream. My daughter loves her and I want to keep it that way.
- i think miley does have a little attitude problem. but she is only a 16 yr old girl. pple seriously nee to give her a break. wat she has is 1 of my dreams too. but i would neva do anything to Miley tht would upset just because i think it might give me my dream. If i have a dream ike tht and i was living it. I wouldn't want pple critisizing me all the time through jelousy. its a nasty habit so i think pple shuld stop it nw before it hurts miley's feelings and her pop star future!!
