Jack White has been forced to withdraw from next month's MTV Europe Music awards because of injury, it's been reported.
The White Stripes frontman had been due to debut his James Bond Theme 'Another Way To Die' alongside Alicia Keys at the ceremony in Liverpool.
However, White is now unable to travel after slipping a disc in his back while touring with the Raconteurs.
According to the Sun newspaper, he had been hopeful that the injury would clear but it is “refusing to heal”.
The pair's “top secret performance” on November 6th would have coincided with the release of the new James Bond film, Quantum of Solace.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Coldplay, Britney Spears and Duffy lead the nominations at this year's MTV European Music Awards.
