A waxwork head of Sir Paul McCartney, which was accidentally left on a train, has been found by a tramp.
Tony Silva, 45, discovered the replica of the former Beatle, which is valued between £5,000 and £10,000, at Reading train station.
An appeal for the head was launched earlier this week by a businessman who left it under the seat of a train from London to Maidenhead – a service which terminates at Reading.
Mr Silva told the Sun newspaper that he only realised it was missing when he saw the story on a newspaper that he had been sleeping on.
The tramp, who has been given a £2,000 reward, said he felt "like I’ve won the lottery.”
The head will now go under the hammer at Carters Entertainment auctioneer in Maidenhead. The sell price for the item has gone up following its disappearance.
