The Black Keys are off to Los Angeles to work with rock legend and guitarist Billy F. Gibbons for possible tracks on ZZ Top’s upcoming album.
ZZ Top is planning to record their new album with producer Rick Rubin, who is looking to get back to the band’s legendary blues rock sound.
"Billy came to our show in Columbus, Ohio, and played us some new songs, but this will be the first time we've gotten together in a musical way," stated Black Keys front man Dan Auerbach to Billboard.
"There are so many people who love them and what they did," he continued.
Gibbons revealed that he was a “big fan” of The Black Keys earlier this year.
