Actor Keanu Reeves stepped onto the red carpet in London last night (October 21st) for the premiere of a film about Canadian rock band Anvil.
Anvil! The Story of Anvil documents the band's career, which began in Toronto in the 1970s.
Reeves, who was raised in Canada, told reporters that he remembered seeing posters of the group around his hometown.
Anvil's frontman, Steve 'Lips' Kudlow, said the film showed how it was "OK to dream and it's even better to live the dream".
"Really what it's all about is doing what makes you feel good about yourself,” he told the BBC.
Kudlow founded the band alongside his schoolfriend Robb Reiner. After moderate early success, including a support tour with Bon Jovi, Anvil failed to sustain widespread interest.
Other guests at the film premeiere included Prime Minister Gordon Brown's wife, Sarah, whose brother worked on the project.
