US rapper Eminem has endorsed Barack Obama's bid to become America's first black president.
The rapper spoke in favour of the Democratic candidate during an interview with the BBC.
Speaking to DJ Zane Lowe, he said: "I'll vote for Barack. I can't get too political because I don't know enough [about the candidates' policies].
"I mean, I know we are going into a recession. Pardon the cliché but we need something to change.
“I think Barack would be a breath of fresh air, to get in there and actually get what's left of the Bush administration out the door."
As previously reported on Gigwise, in what was a wide ranging interview, the rapper also spoke about his new album, and how he had no immediate plans to tour the record.
