Nelly Furtado secretly married her partner, sound engineer Demacio Castello, during the summer.
The singer revealed details about the couple's marriage during an appearance on Entertainment Tonight in Canada.
"I love it. I'm happy... I'm excited about the future,” she said.
"I just feel kind of free and relaxed and more in tune with trying not to be so stressed out."
The couple, who got engaged last year, worked together on Furtdao's 2006 album 'Loose', which included the hit 'Maneater'.
