Ringo Starr's Autograph Ban Reaches Deadline Day
Fans of Ringo Starr have until midnight tonight (October 20th) to send merchandise for the former Beatle to sign.
Starr announced on his website last week that he would no longer sign autographs for fans – and that anything sent after October 20th would be “tossed”.
The drummer's video message, in which he claimed he was too busy to deal with requests, angered his fan base.
Starr has since apologised for the way his message was worded but the ban remains in place.
Meanwhile, the drummer has unveiled a competition on his website calling for fans to send in pictures from his recent tour. The winner will receive a signed drumhead.
