The Streets frontman Mike Skinner has told Lily Allen to stop courting the attention of the paparazzi if she wants to lead a private life.
Allen often draws sympathetic messages from her fans when she writes about her fractious relationship with the media on her MySpace page.
But Skinner told the Sun newspaper that he was tired of reading the singer's “moaning”.
“It makes me think, ‘Just stop giving them such good stories to write about and it’ll all go away’,” he said.
“For God’s sake, people — don’t you get it? She wants all of the photographers following her round. She needs it.”
