Kaiser Chiefs were saved from an embarrassing technical problem during a gig in Manchester on Monday (October 15th) by comedian Peter Kay.
Kay gave an impromptu stand up show when guitarist Andrew White's guitar stopped working half way through their performance at the MEN Arena.
The comedian, who had been watching the concert from the side of the stage, delivered what one source told the Sun newspaper was “an unrepeatable four-letter tirade” at a member of the audience.
“It was class,” the concertgoer added.
Kay had earlier introduced the band with a performance of 'The Winner's Song', which featured on his recent TV show about reality television.
