Beastie Boys have confirmed additional dates on their ‘Get Out and Vote ’08’ tour of the current swing states in this year’s election.
Teaming up with several other high profile acts including Sheryl Crow, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Norah Jones, Crosby & Nash, Santogold and Tenacious D, the band will play six shows in five different states starting October 27.
Representatives from Rock The Vote will be on hand at all the show informing concert attendees on local polling sites, including early voting locations.
Tickets for the October 27 will be going on sale Thursday, October 16 at 10AM while tickets for the October 28 and 29th will be going on sale Friday, October 17 at 10AM.
The dates are as follows:
Charlotte, NC, Amos Southend – October 27 (w/ Sheryl Crow and Santogold)
Richmond, VA, Richmond Coliseum – 28 (w/ Jack Johnson, Norah ones and Santogold)
Youngstown, OH, Chevrolet Center – 29 (w/ Sheryl Crow, Ben Harper and Norah Jones)
Dayton, OH, Hara Arena – 30 (w/ Sheryl Crow and Ben Harper)
St. Paul, MN, Roy Wilkins Auditorium – November 1 (w/ Ben Harper and Tenacious D)
Milwaukee, WI, U.S. Cellular Arena – 2 (w/ Ben Harper, Tenacious D and Crosby & Nash)
