Lil Wayne Given 1 Million Dollars In Cash For His Birthday
US rapper Lil' Wayne was presented with a briefcase containing $1million for his 26th birthday.
The rapper was presented with the gift by his friend and mentor Birdman at a private party in Miami on Tuesday (October 7th).
According to sources, Lil' Wayne was “left speechless” when he discovered the contents of the case.
“He was almost in tears when he hugged his friend. I mean, who wouldn't like $1 million as a birthday gift?" a unnamed source is quoted as saying.
Fellow rapper Akon was among guests at the birthday party.
Lil' Wayne currently holds the title for the fastest selling album of the year. 'Tha Carter III' sold over 1 million units in its first week last summer.
