Coldplay have been crowned the Best Act in the World at the Q Awards in London.
The band also took home the Best Album prize for 'Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends', fending off challenges from Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds and The Last Shadow Puppets.
Frontman Chris Martin said Coldplay were “the greatest band in the world” when collecting the band's prizes, adding: "U2 are on holiday".
Duffy took home Best Breakthough, The Last Shadow Puppets were named Best New Act and Keane won Best Track for 'Spiralling'.
Meanwhile, Meat Loaf was honoured for his classic track 'Bat Out Of Hell' and Grace Jones was named this year's Q Idol.
The Q Awards took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
