New bands who take part in Oxjam 2008 will compete for the chance to win a place at next year's Leeds Festival, it's been announced
The Oxjam festival, which raises money for the charity Oxfam, is currently hosting a series of concerts across the UK.
Bands can enter the competition via the charity's website. Judges will then present a shortlist of 20 for the public to decide a winner.
In previous years the Oxjam festival has played host to special sets from a number of artists, including Jarvis Cocker, who DJ'd in one of the charity's shops.
