The Super Furry Animals formed in 1993 in Cardiff, the 5 members have ever since dedicated their lives to song writing and music experimentation. Starting out as a techno act they have slowly but steadily moved towards a more consumer friendly sound.

After being signed to Creation records in 1995 and due to cracking albums like Fuzzy Logic (1996) and Radiator (1997) they have become one of the most interesting and influential bands to ever have come out of the Welsh valleys. Following the collapse of the Creation label they have gone on to release Guerrilla (1999) and Mwng (2000), an album totally recorded in Welsh.

Their stage performances are always bordering on the slightly insane, with the use of yeti costumes and psychedelic visuals there to stun audiences. Their last albums Rings around the world (2001) and Phantom Power (2003) have been accompanied by DVD’s featuring visuals to accompany each track.

Their album Phantom Phorce features various remixes from Phantom Power and collaboration with Welsh pals The Goldie Lookin Chain. In 2004 they released a Best of, Songbook-The Singles and Mwng, an album sung entirely in their native welsh. In 2005 they released two albums Lazer Beam and Love Kraft.
