The Hold Steady have been forced to cancel their UK tour because lead guitarist Tad Kubler has been diagnosed with pancreatitis.
The band were forced to cancel a show in Oxford last night (September 29th) after Kubler was hospitalised with the illness.
A spokesperson for the group confirmed that the remaining seven dates, includes tonight's scheduled show in Manchester, have now been postponed.
The band are currently in the process of rescheduling the shows.
The affected tour dates are:
Manchester Academy, Manchester - September 30
ABC, Glasgow -October 1
Wulfrun Hall, Wolverhampton - 2
Anson Rooms, Bristol - 4
Rock City, Nottingham - 5
Pyramids, Portsmouth - 6
