Britney Spears has said she expects to announce details of a world tour, which will begin next year.
The singer was asked about her future schedule during an appearance on US radio to promote her new single 'Womanizer'.
Speaking about her tour plans, she said: "Oh, definitely next year," before adding that it will probably include cities “around the world.”
Spears also spoke about her triumph at this months MTV Video Music Awards, where she scooped three prizes for her song 'Piece Of Me'.
"It's a cool video, but I think by far I've done videos that are way better, so I was really shocked that it got the award," she said.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Spears will release her new album, 'Circus', the follow-up to 2007's Blackout', on December 2nd, her 27th birthday.
A spokesperson for the singer confirmed last week that she would appear on a forthcoming episode of the X Factor in the UK.
