US rapper Busta Rhymes has said he is having difficulty establishing a collaboration with Amy Winehouse because the singer won't return his phone calls.
“I think she is a talented genius of an artist. She won’t pick up the damn phone but that’s OK. I ain’t mad at her,” Rhymes told the Daily Star.
Rhymes has spoken previously about his desire to work with Winehouse, who, despite her huge acclaim, has chosen not to collaborate with many artists.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Rhymes headlined the RockCorps charity even at London's Royal Albert Hall last Friday (September 26th).
The rapper, who was detained by customs officials for 12 hours when he arrived in the UK, was joined by The Automatic, Guillemots and Feeder.
