Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas, actress Kristin Davis, Angelique Kidjo and model Elle MacPherson have teamed up to launch a campaign Thursday (September 25) to cut the world’s poverty in half by 2015.
Launching through a new channel created by YouTube, users can upload a video expressing to the government about what needs to be done to meet the poverty goals promised by the United Nations in 2000, when they stated their ambitious goals for cutting disease and poverty and improving education in the poorest countries.
The videos will be mashed together, creating a new video for the song ‘In My Name’, that was written by Black Eyed Peas members Will.I.Am and adp.de.ap withAngelique Kidjo for the Global Call To Action Against Poverty according to The Associated Press.
Videos will be accepted up until November 1.
