Metallica has maintained their second week atop the Billboard charts with their first effort in 5 years, ‘Death Magnetic’.
The band has sold 337,000 in its second week of release with total record sales at 827,000 since it hit shelves on September 12 in the U.S.
Coming in at #2 for the week is Ne-Yo’s latest effort, ‘Year Of The Gentleman’ with 250,000 copies sold.
Rounding out at the top 5 are Nelly’s ‘Brass Knuckles’ at number 3 selling 84,000 copies, Kid Rock’s ‘Rock N Roll Jesus’ at number 4 with 64,000 copies sold and Darius Rucker, former lead singer of Hootie and The Blowfish, at number 5 with his album ‘Live to Learn’, selling 60,000 copies.
