My Bloody Valentine are planning to release two new albums, band member Kevin Shields has revealed.
Shields said the group, who returned to the stage this summer for the first time in 16 years, would return to existing material first.
The songs, recorded in the mid-90s, would form one album, which would then be followed by another record of entirely new material.
"I realised that all that stuff I was doing in 1996 and 1997 was a lot better than I thought," he told the New York Times.
Shields' comments follow last weekends My Bloody Valentine curated ATP festival in New York.
