DMX Admitted To Florida Hospital

Rapper DMX was admitted to a hospital in Aventura, Florida on Monday (September 22), a day before his scheduled court appearance in Arizona.

Speaking to Billboard.com, the rapper’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen stated, "It was serious enough for him to be brought and taken into a treatment facility. He spent the night there last night, and he will probably spend tonight there as well."

The reasons for his admittance to the hospital are still unknown, but reports have alleged it was DMX’s “fear of stroke”.

DMX is due in court for numerous charges he’s acquired in the state of Arizona including possession of drugs, animal cruelty accusations, traffic violations and defrauding a hospital with an invalid name and Social Security number.

His court date has been rescheduled for September 29, 2008.
