US rapper Kanye West has written new music for a TV show described as “hip-hop meets the Muppets”.
The Comedy Central programme, currently entitled Alligator Boots, is produced by the rapper and South Park writer Joe Kimmel.
A pilot episode for the programme, which saw West in the role as host, has already been filmed – but if picked up a different host will present the programme each week.
US media reports failed to detail the style of music that West had penned for the show.
As previously reported on Gigwise, the rapper will release his fourth album, '808s And Heartbreak', this December.
It will be preceded by the single 'Love Lockdown'.
