Crystal Castles have ended a long running dispute with the artist Trevor Brown over the use of one of his images.
The Canadian band began using Brown's 'bruised Madonna' logo on T-shirts and other merchandise after spotting it on a flyer in 2006.
Initially the artist was not paid any royalties or given credit for the image, prompting action against the group's management company
Writing on his blog, Brown revealed that a settlement had been reached and that he was satisfied with the result.
"Hallelujah. It's a miracle, there is a god! Crystal Castles have redeemed themselves – I've been paid off!" he wrote
Brown added that he hoped the settlement would allow both parties to “move on”.
