Sir Paul McCartney has praised Duffy's cover of The Wings' track 'Live and Let Die', which appears on a new War Child album.
Duffy is one of a host of current chart stars who were picked by legendary musicians for the album, entitled 'Heroes'.
Beck was nominated by Bob Dylan to cover 'Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat', while The Kinks' 'Victoria' has been re-imagined by The Kooks.
Sir Paul, who recorded 'Live and Let Die' for the James Bond film of the same name, called Duffy's cover “great”, adding: “The breadth of talent on this project is amazing.
It’s great that so many people have given their time, energy and support to this initiative. I urge everyone to support War Child.”
'Heroes' is due to be released on November 24th.
