Franz Ferdinand performed a 'secret gig' on the site of Glastonbury on Friday (September 19) minus their drummer Paul Thomson - after his wife went into labour.
The Scottish band were forced to swap places with The Ting Tings on the bill at the annual Worthy Farm bash, as they performed an acoustic set as a three piece.
Frontman Alex Kapranos told the audience the good news: "I don't know if you've heard about Paul our drummer - his wife went into labour, then 20 minutes ago we heard she'd given birth to a baby boy."
The annual Glastonbury September party raises money for Pilton and the local region. Previous performers have included Coldplay and Keane.
