Debbie Harry and Adam Green To Headline Benefit Concert

Debbie Harry and Adam Green have been announced as headliners for the 3rd annual ‘Gimme Shelter: Rock and Rescue’ benefit concert taking place October 6 at the Highline Ballroom in New York.

Ad Rock and Gina Gershon have signed on as guest hosts for the event and additional performers include Jesse Malin, Earl Greyhound and Lissy Trullie. Moby and J.D. Samson (Le Tigre) will provide music for the evening as guest DJs.

The event celebrates ten New York based animal rescue groups working with the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals to end euthanasia of healthy and treatable animals in city shelters by 2015.
