Noel Gallagher: 'Oasis Members Will Go Solo After New Album'
Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher has said he would like to see the band's members launch their own solo careers following the release of their new album.
The band release their new record, 'Dig Out Your Soul', on October 6th – and Gallagher said he already had songs for his own solo project.
"I'd like for us to do separate projects after this record," he told Blender Magazine.
"We'd all have to agree on it, so it will probably never happen. I've got loads of new songs. Somewhat predictably, they're all brilliant."
As previously reported on Gigwise, Gallagher revealed in another interview this week that he wrote the band's first three albums – 'Definitely Maybe', '(What's The Story) Morning Glory' and 'Be Here Now' – under the influence of drugs.
