The Black Crowes have announced they are forced to cancel several of their upcoming dates on their current U.S. tour due to a band member’s illness.
The dates have been cancelled since their September 13 concert in Las Vegas at The Joint up until their September 21 performance in Santa Rosa, California.
“Despite our best efforts, it is not possible to reschedule the canceled shows at this time. However, we are working diligently to reschedule these markets in early 2009,” states the band via their official website.
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this situation may cause our fans. We greatly appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you soon.”
The upcoming cancelled dates are the following:
Los Angeles, CA, The Greek Theatre – September 17
Santa Barbara, CA, Santa Barbara County Bowl – 19
San Diego, CA, Street Scene Festival – 20
Santa Rosa, CA, Wells Fargo Center - 21
